Diamonds and Pearls

O, the eighties,

and the ladies, who used to be girls;

and the fathers,

and the daughters,

like diamonds and pearls.

O, the ages,

and the pages, that everyone turns;

and the families,

and the memories

like diamonds and pearls.

Diamonds and pearls,

diamonds and pearls.

Husbands and wives,

diamonds and pearls.

O, the savior,

that He gave us,

who lived in this world.

Ask the spirit,

will he hear it?

He’ll hear diamonds and pearls.

Diamonds and pearls,

diamonds and pearls.

Living and life,

diamonds and pearls.
